Precious | Tucson Newborn Photographer

I love photographing newborns and children. They are so sweet, innocent, and perfect. They act without fear of judgment. They see the world as a place of opportunity. Opportunity to play, explore, laugh, learn. They forgive easily, love unconditionally, and give freely. There is so much we can learn from children if we watch them. What a gift they are. I love their little quirks. How different they all are. After each session I feel like I know them a little bit. I smile while I’m editing pictures of their different facial expressions and personality. So thanks for sharing them with me! Every time I photograph one of these little ones my goal is to send you home with memories of what they were like at that stage so you will always be able to revisit the joy they were. Time has a way of fading things, even the things that are currently constant. I’m so thankful for the invention of photography! What a blessing to be able to preserve those memories.

Gorgeous Baby “B” | Tucson Newborn Photography

Such a sweet little thing. And she hardly even used the bathroom on any of my things. That is rare folks! I love photographing these precious little babies. Look at her. She’s so fresh, sweet, and perfect. It seriously makes me happy to get to preserve these memories for people.

Waiting | Tucson Child Photographer

I photographed this little guy as a newborn. Now he’s one. How this happens so fast never ceases to amaze me. His daddy is currently deployed. He missed his first steps and doesn’t want to miss his first haircut. I think that is so sweet. What a fantastic dad!

So here’s his little boy, waiting for him. Doesn’t this picture say it all.

Thank you for all you do on behalf of us and this great country! A little reminder of how tiny he was just a year ago!

The “V” Fam | Tucson Family Photographer

It’s been fun watching this little man grow up. He looks more like a toddler now than a baby! It’s crazy how fast they change. True to boy form, he was having a good old time on all the grass. Love it!

The “S” Fam | Tucson Family Photographer

It is seriously fun to photograph these mini humans. I love how candid they are. No fake stuff when you’re only 5 months old! Enjoy your peek!

Isn’t it great how babies clamp onto your hair when you do things like this to them.

Love this both ways.

Twins | Tucson Child Photographer

How cute are these two! Poor little Mrs. E was sick the night before but I think we still managed to get some happy moments. They love pushing each other in this wagon. It’s adorable!

I love that he copies the way she crawls.

Okay, so most of the time they love pushing each other in the wagon. I have thing for “real life” photos like this though. Classic!

What a Sweetheart! | Tucson Newborn Photographer

Little Mrs. “J” was the easiest little newborn I’ve encountered so far. She crashed out and stayed out. Apparently she was awake most of the morning prior to the session. So if you have a newborn session with me don’t let them sleep all morning. Just kidding. It was fabulous though. Without further adieu.

A little sister love.

Somebody Pinch Me | Tucson Baby Photographer

Remember this gorgeous little gal. Well she’s grown and she is as cute as ever. Time goes so fast! I barely took her newborn pictures I swear. I’ve only edited two pictures but I can’t resist posting them. I mean look at this face. Eat your heart out! What a cutie!

I Think It Was Worth It | Tucson Senior Photographer

I know males often feel like photo sessions are actually torture sessions, but I think Austin survived without too much pain involved. Ha-ha! I think it’s was worth it and hopefully he’ll agree. I’m pretty sure mom will. Austin just be glad you’re not one of my boys. They have to live through it over and over and over but it makes me a happy camper. I’d venture to guess I’m not alone and most every mom NEEDS great shots of their babies (whatever age they are) to keep those memories fresh and vivid. Time goes all to fast. And while we think we’ll never forget, time has a way of dulling the moments that were once a part of our every day existence. I readily admit I am more obsessive about it than most in that I want my captured moments of my kids to be as technically correct, clean, and quality as possible. I want to be able to see the details of their eyes, the dimples in their skin, the texture of their hair. I really want to remember things as close to reality as I can. I get a lot of satisfaction out of a shot that captures the essence of their personality. I thoroughly enjoy children and the way they are unaware of social stigmas. They are free to be . . . exist without fear of judgment, without a need to fit in. There is so much a child can teach us if we’ll watch and listen.

Okay, so I somehow went from a senior boy to little kids in that single paragraph. Ah, such is the mind of a woman. I’ll share one shot with you from Easter that is going to warm my heart for a long, long time and then we’ll get back to the original purpose of this post.

Without further interruptions . . . Austin.
