Precious | Tucson Newborn Photographer

I love photographing newborns and children. They are so sweet, innocent, and perfect. They act without fear of judgment. They see the world as a place of opportunity. Opportunity to play, explore, laugh, learn. They forgive easily, love unconditionally, and give freely. There is so much we can learn from children if we watch them. What a gift they are. I love their little quirks. How different they all are. After each session I feel like I know them a little bit. I smile while I’m editing pictures of their different facial expressions and personality. So thanks for sharing them with me! Every time I photograph one of these little ones my goal is to send you home with memories of what they were like at that stage so you will always be able to revisit the joy they were. Time has a way of fading things, even the things that are currently constant. I’m so thankful for the invention of photography! What a blessing to be able to preserve those memories.

Look Who I Got To Meet

We’re back from our little vacation. It was so GREEN. Ah, I miss green. Monsoons come to the desert soon please! Just make sure you leave breaks for my sessions. I’d appreciate it! We got to ride the gator, jump on the trampoline, plant a garden, go check out some gorgeous views of the valley, throw rocks in the creek, and of course a little cattle branding for good measure. My kind of vacation! The country girl in me sure misses good old Wyoming. As a nice little highlight to the trip we got to meet my incredibly adorable little niece! She’s just the cutest little thing and her mom is a fabulous mother! What a lucky little girl. I’ll have another new little niece and a new little nephew next time I’m up! Can’t wait!

Isn’t she so sweet!

Even her little sneezes are cute.

My mom made me these little hanging pouches so we had to test one out. Little Mrs. P was simply a fantastic model for it.

Gratitude | Tucson Family Photographer

Every time I look at these pictures I feel so thankful for families like this one! Mom deployed a couple days after we took these. When she comes back shortly thereafter Dad leaves. All I can say is THANK YOU! Thank you for your sacrifices for our country and freedoms! Meeting families like this refreshes my hope in the future. Thanks for allowing me to capture this precious time in your lives and for a fantastic session!

I LOVE this series!

Proof that indeed the desire to open ones mouth when wanting another to open their mouth is instinctive. I catch myself doing that when I’m feeding my baby rice cereal. At least I know I’m normal now. Ha!

Mr. Smiles | Tucson Child Photographer

Little Mr. J is so happy, not to mention ADORABLE! He was so good at sitting up at barely 6 months old! It seems like they’re usually a bit wobbly if sitting up at all yet, but he had it down. Thanks for sharing your cute little man with me. He’s so fun to photograph.

What a Sweetheart! | Tucson Newborn Photographer

Little Mrs. “J” was the easiest little newborn I’ve encountered so far. She crashed out and stayed out. Apparently she was awake most of the morning prior to the session. So if you have a newborn session with me don’t let them sleep all morning. Just kidding. It was fabulous though. Without further adieu.

A little sister love.

{~ Family ~} | Tucson Family Photographer

There were a lot of special events going on while we were on our little adventure but we managed to work around it and get some great stuff. Thanks for being such troopers! Enjoy your peek!

I love this one.

Sometimes you just feel like chocolate.

Toss in one black and white for good measure.

Somebody Pinch Me | Tucson Baby Photographer

Remember this gorgeous little gal. Well she’s grown and she is as cute as ever. Time goes so fast! I barely took her newborn pictures I swear. I’ve only edited two pictures but I can’t resist posting them. I mean look at this face. Eat your heart out! What a cutie!

It Feels Like Spring | Tucson Family Photographer

I’ve been loving this beautiful weather. Mix that with a gorgeous family dressed in cute, coordinating spring-like attire and you’ve got one fabulous session. I LOVE the baby’s dress. I’m contemplating buying one even though I don’t have a girl to put it in. It’s always a good thing when I’m editing a session and I can’t stop smiling. Enjoy your peek!

Little Miss “A” was NOT a fan of the grass. True Arizona baby there. Ha! Poor thing, she did not even want her toes touching the stuff. I love the next two images though. So sweet.

Don’t worry, we made it work.

It’s great to be 6 months old! | Tucson Baby Photographer

I’m back after a relaxing two month newborn break. I confess, I’ve missed photography. What a perfect welcome back this little sweetheart was too! You might remember her from her newborn shoot. She’s 6 months old already. Time goes so fast! Her sister had her giggling for us. Well she actually had me giggling too. She is such a character. I love it! Coming from my all boy crew, it’s fun to see that sister connection. I know she’s not smiling in this first picture but I also have a thing for serious faces and I LOVE this shot. I thought I’d give mom a little pre-sneak peek. More to come.

The Cuteness Continues | Tucson Child Photographer

I was having fun processing these. I love my job!

What little boy is not mesmerized by a train.

A little puppy love.
